AI Summaries in SeaTicket automatically generates concise, context-aware summaries for external issues, internal tickets, and knowledge base records, so you can quickly grasp key details without reading the full content.

Where to find AI summaries

  • External Issues – In the Connections section, every imported email or external issue displays a summary in the AI Summary column.
  • Tickets – In All Tickets or My Tickets, the AI Summary column provides a brief overview of each ticket.
  • Knowledge Base – Each knowledge record includes a summary in the AI Summary column to help you understand key points at a glance.
AI Processed Time – Each summary shows a timestamp of when it was last generated or updated, can be displayed alongside the summary.

How it works

  • Automatic Processing – During synchronization, SeaTicket analyzes each item and generates the summary.
  • Context-Aware – The AI considers the entire content and context to provide meaningful summaries that reflect the main points.
  • Automatic Updates – Summaries update whenever content changes, so the AI summary always reflects the latest information.

Summary Language

By default, AI Summaries are generated in English. You can change the language to match your team’s preference. To set the summary language:
  1. Go to Settings in your SeaTicket project
  2. Locate the Language for AI summary dropdown
  3. Select your preferred language — available options include English, 中文, Français, and Deutsch

The selected language applies to all automatically generated summaries across tickets, external issues, and knowledge base records within the project.

Troubleshooting

If a summary is missing, blank, or incorrect:
  • The item may not have synced yet—try refreshing the page or triggering a manual sync from Connections.
Normally, summaries sync automatically during connection and when content changes.
